SF. Free love, art and crepes

So the photos are extremely dotted.not because it was snowing. no. but you could pretend if you wanted! it's because the windows of the car were dirty after the long drive! California is very dusty! being a desert and all.

So first stop today: Haight and Ashbury! birthplace of the free love movement, so of course, I had to go see this place. it was decked with vintage shops, lots of *ahem *aHEMP... smoke shops, and alot of shops which supported artists, having designed shirts, especially graphic design, polaroids, albums, books... so yup, art is definitely supported, and costly too. but worth the price i'd say because the works of art were really quite colorful.

Street Art!

So we stopped for a bite at a cafe that had crepes, YUMS! it had such a homey, earthen vibe!

So the diet cola and ginger ale had cane sugar, and bottled drinks are popular here apparently!
and here's the strawberry hazelnut chocolate crepe with whipped cream!
