soya bean and pig ears in Los Altos

had chinese food for lunch!
spicy  wanton topped with chives in a spicy chilli and vinegar sauce

soya bean milk
 


a little strange at first, but super yummy, braised cow stomach and marinated pig's ears!!

the cow stomach was tasty and chewy, whilst the pig's ears were crunchy because of the cartilage, yet flavourful from the skin. YUM!




You tiao!! which is fried dough sticks =)

 
dried beancurd with egg in brown sauce. smooth, thick and chunky. and fried tofu!!
yam cake! sweet and soft on the inside, salty and crispy on the outside.


Ending off with BOBA!
sesame milk tea with pearls, which was the green tea, with added black sesame bits. the sesame was really fragrant and added to the full flavour, whilst the bitterness of the tea cut through the milkiness making sure it wasen't over the top, but a light, sweet drink. awesome for a hot day!
